Bankside Hotel, in partnership with Contemporary Collective and DegreeArt Gallery, is delighted to present Gilded Lustre: Illuminating Texture and Tone, the latest exhibition in our White Box space, celebrating light, radiance, and the transformative power of materiality.
Showcasing works that shimmer, reflect, and glow, Gilded Lustre explores the interplay of texture, surface, and tone. Inspired by the timeless allure of gilded surfaces and the warmth of light across materials, the exhibition evokes both festive brilliance and enduring luminosity.
Through paintings, sculpture, and mixed media, artists examine how golds, metallics, and lustrous tones transcend decoration to embody resilience, transformation, and celebration. Together, the works create an immersive environment inviting guests and visitors to reflect on the universal draw of light—both physical and symbolic.
