Rod McIntosh is a British artist who utilizes ink to create marks inspired by mindfulness and meditation, along with the tradition of drawing.

Concentrating on the body, the breath, materials, and repetitive processes, McIntosh emphasizes the present moment through the observation and recording of the moment of creation within a continuum. McIntosh describes these works as “physical meditations, that offers himself, and the viewer a moment to pause.” With a background in figurative sculpture and Arts Management, McIntosh is currently a full-time artist working between Kent and London, expanding on his national and international profile.
